Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Ordered trimmer 25th March, received 29th March. Trimmer would not start, advised Robert Dyas on 30th March, 3 weeks and several emails later I have lost £100 and have brand new trimmer in box which does not start and no response to my request for refund and collection of trimmer. I have now started case with Resolver and will take further if necessary.

Customer service representatives are very friendly but unfortunately that counts for not much when you’re still waiting six weeks later for a refund on an item with a clearly identifiable manufacturing fault within the warranty period. It wouldn’t be so bad but I didn’t even ask for a refund, I would have accepted a replacement item, but that was not offered either.As an update I should add that I did finally get a refund after two months - I expect better but have added a star for the positive outcome, even if it did take a lot of effort on my part.

Really pleased with my purchases, I would have given 5 stars if they had been delivered in an appropriate sized box too big and too much packaging

Just want to say what a pleasant experience we had today at the Winchester store. Very helpful and cheerful colleagues looked after us well, found the product we were looking for and explained the merits of another item we may buy in the near future.

Terrible customer service. Bought saucepan set, two frying pans bent out of shape on arrival. No phone line for customer service. Email or chat. Tried both. Was ignored for days. Eventually an email reply asking for pictures - which were in the same thread, as I'd sent them with my initial complaint. Promised to pick up - never came. Promised to look into replacement - have heard nothing since. I regarded this as a respectable company but would never buy from them again. Lamentable.

The delivery was timely but there was damage to two parts of the barbecue. As they did not impact on putting it together and I had unpacked it I decided not to return the unit. Additionally the number of screws provided was insufficient so I had to separately order some which I am awaiting. Hopefully I will have no further issues.

A quick and enjoyable experience shopping on the website. The product (a garden bench) was delivered quickly. However the product was disappointing. One of the long bolts was difficult to insert. And when pressure was applied to the Allen Key to tighten the bolt, it stripped the socket of the bolt (i.e. the socket - which was clearly soft metal - went from hexagonal to round in seconds). This meant that it wasn't possible to complete assembly of the bench. Thus far I have found Robert Dyas Customer Services to be helpful and anticipate being able to return the bench against a refund next week. Will bump the score up if that goes smoothly.
